In honor of our anniversary, I am writing a cookbook about The Pasta Tree and the history. I'm asking anyone who has a story to share or pictures from the past to please submit them to us at thepastatree@gmail.com or on our Facebook page. Anyone submitting a valuable story or picture will receive a $10 gift certificate. I have a feeling this is going to be very fun to hear about all the history of 1st dates, marriage proposals, and other special occasions. Heather& Amy from Fine Fettle Farm will be sharing a beautiful full swing Summer Tomato Panzanella Salad showcasing all fresh ingredients from their farm located in Caledonia, WI. We will be featuring a lovely Summer Picnic on the Farm Dinner of 3 courses for $35 Wine Pairings additional cost Heather&Amy will be discussing how they got into the farming business and what it means to them to be producing the best product they can. This will be very inspiring! Farmer Amy Wallner grew up in a small town in Western Wisconsin. After studying horticulture and soil science at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, she made her way to Milwaukee to be an urban farmer. Over the last 8 years she has farmed urban, peri-urban, suburban and now rural farm land in and around Milwaukee. Since 2014, Amy has been farming by day at the Hunger Task Force Farm in Franklin and filling mornings, evenings and weekends with farming at Fine Fettle Farm. She loves agriculture and the endless joy of tiny seeds developing into delicious, beautiful fruits and vegetables. Heather Hall is a first-generation farmer from Racine, Wisconsin. She graduated with a B.S. in geography and biology from Elmhurst College. In 2011, she entered the world of organic farming in an effort to change the food system for the better. After learning from some of the best in the business, Heather joined forces with Amy Wallner in 2017 to start Fine Fettle Farm.

Sarah will be sharing her dish of Tajarin Pasta which she experienced in the Piedmont region of Italy along with an Arneis wine so she can share the entire experience with us. We will be offering a 3 course dinner with a glass of Arneis for $40. Sarah will also be sharing her knowledge in radio, music and journalism. I personally think she has a pretty cool job so it will be fun to hear all about it. Sarah grew up in central Wisconsin and is a graduate of Winona State University in MN where she studied Mass Communication – Photojournalism. She designed her minor in The Philosophy of Music as a Language. Shortly after she moved to Milwaukee, Sarah started working on-air with 88Nine Radio Milwaukee as the new format launched in February of 2007. She is now the Director of Underwriting Partnerships at Radio Milwaukee and works with her team to connect with over 200 businesses and organizations annually throughout the Greater Milwaukee area to activate partnerships and achieve business support that fuels the station’s mission and operating budget to the tune of over a million dollars each year. In addition to her role as Director of Underwriting Partnerships, Sarah continues to host an on-air set on Sundays ‪3PM – 6PM‬; keeping the dream alive! Sarah is passionate about moving the city forward and getting behind the mission of other organizations working to strength our city and the people in it. She is innovative in her approach and vision and looks forward to helping engage the next generation of supporters for non-profits in the Greater Milwaukee area. Sarah enjoys connecting people for creative and collaborative efforts. She was named one of the Milwaukee Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” in 2015.
